Tim Tebow – Probably the most famous homeschooled athlete, Tebow was the first sophomore ever nominated for the Heisman Trophy, which he also won. He went on to play for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He also supported homeschool education by backing the “Tim Tebow Bill,” which grants Alabama homeschool, charter school, and virtual school students a chance to play high school sports at the public school for which they are zoned.
